Ten Pennies and One Quarter Found
On the way back from Philly, we found a whole bunch of pennies and one quarter. Back to Pittsburgh, where the change finding is not as good as in Philadelphia.

Over Twenty Dollars Found in One Day
This was a huge payday. Walking around Philly, money seemed to be everywhere. My wife stumbled across a rather large pile of pennies at a bus stop in the old city. We found 35 pennies at once at the bus stop. (see picture) Throughout the day we found some more change. However, after dinner, we found the biggest find yet; a $20 bill! Amazing! The penny blog counter just grew by leaps and bounds!

Two Pennies Found
Not the best day, but at least I still found some money. One penny was just barely sticking out of the bottom of a fire hydrant.

For those interested in a summation of the money that we found thus far, I’ve added a “Change Found Total” feature to the blog. Each time that I report what we found, I will add the new total to this feature. While the total is not very large, keep in mind that it’s free money and we’ve only been counting for less than two months.
